An avid home brewer, and lover of science, Sid began brewing cider and beer in 2005. Medford’s first commercial cidery was born in their garage in 2012.  After 2 years of planning and construction, we sold our first commercial keg of cider in 2014. Four years later an opportunity arose to expand to a larger production space and tasting room.  In 2018, Gold Rush opened their doors to the public in their first tasting room.  Cider production continued to grow and Sid had the chance to create with more space and freedom.

A golden opportunity presented itself in 2023, with a new larger location with beer production in place.  In 2023 Gold Rush Beer was brought to the public, and in 2024 both cider and beer production lines were brought together.  We are super excited to bring our craft cider and beer to southern Oregon under one roof and celebrate the good with our community!
